The Open Door House is a non profit ministry that cares for women who have aged out of the foster care system. They are actively changing lives and generations by caring and loving for these girls just like Jesus would and sharing the hope of the gospel with them.
Here are some areas where you can get involved:

Discipleship Leader:
Purpose: To guide each young woman to know her identity in Christ and learn how to live a Holy-Spirit filled life.
Expectation: Create Curriculum for a weekly Bible Study and set a calendar of volunteers to facilitate each study series. "You are a child of God. You are wonderfully made, dearly loved, and precious in His sight.†– Psalm 139:14
Special Events Coordinator:
-Plan special events such as birthdays, holidays, any celebration, a new resident moving in.
-Plan a monthly fun activity- movie/game night, dinner out, museum trip, etc.
Life Skills Coordinator:
-Work with Program Coach to set a monthly schedule and identify facilitators for classes.
-Two classes per month, one structured class and one fun class.
-Examples of Life Skills classes: cooking, budgeting, goal setting, yoga, art, creating a resume, etc.
Ambassadors:
-Attend events and festivals- setup a table and share our mission and the realities of youth aging out of foster care.
Mentors:
-Become a consistent support in the life of our young ladies.
