When Jesus came to Earth, everyone was expecting a savior that would overturn the corrupt government, rule over the land, and provide them with complete security here and now. Instead, Jesus extended them an invitation to follow Him in service and suffering, with the promise of those things to come in eternity. Will you trust God to fulfill this promise to you?
